- Dr. Huey-Der Chu is an SEI-certified Instructor for CMMI for Development v1.3, Associate Professor, Department of Information Technology at Takming University of Science and Technology and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (part time) in Taiwan for Software Quality Management, Member of a Council for National Project Management Association and Chinese Software Quality Association.
- Dr. Chu received Ph.D. (1998) in the Centre for Software Reliability at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, England and his research currently interests in Software Process Improvement, Knowledge Management and Quality Management. Dr. Chu also received PMP and PMI-ACP.
- He have shared his knowledge and experiences through over 100 publications (one in IEEE Transaction on Software Engineering, Jan. 2004) and as a speaker in CMMI at SEPG 2004 (Orlando), SEPG China 2006, 2007 and 2008 (SuZhou, China) Conferences. Abstract Reviewer at SEPG 2010, 2012.
- Dr Chu have provides over 200 times for the Introduction to CMMI-DEV courses between Taiwan and China. He also provides the CMMI consultant service for two organizations (one is government organization for CMMI-ACQ).
- He got the awards includes: Elite Information Technology Award, Annual Computer Show Organization, Taiwan, 2003, Quality Person Award, Chinese Society for Quality in Taiwan, 2002 and Defense Model Award, DoD in Taiwan 2002.
